A Blue Christmas

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a Christmas tag. As I have already made a red and green tag earlier this month, I wanted to go in a different direction. As I was flipping through my supplies, I stumbled upon these blue Project Life cards. I probably won’t use them in PL albums, so I decided to use them to make a fun tag. A few simple snips and punches and I had the perfect tag!

A Coffee Christmas

10339703_10206316742261178_1735897205410241504_n Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card, any card, using any current SU products. So of course I made a Christmas card. One of these days I’ll pick up a non-holiday set again…

Anyways, I went a little embossing happy this week and embossed about 6 different images. Then I started building cards around those images. This is the result of the first image. I love this little coffee cup! So cute! I wanted to break up my piece of cardstock a bit, and so I added a bit of vellum. From there, I finished off the card with the gold sequin trim. It’s a very sparkly card in person!

A Dotty Christmas

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a Christmas card. Another card featuring the Merry Moments DSP pack. Can’t you tell I love it! I again went simple with my design. I focused on the polka dot print and repeated the circles with the embossing folder and sentiment. Another simple yet cute Christmas card.

December color challenge

I somehow ran out of Tip Top Taupe cardstock in my crazy Christmas card frenzy. No worries, I still have the ink! And my Real Red ink just went dry and I don’t have a handy reinker. Never fear, I have Cherry Cobbler! Close enough.

For the actual card, I went with this cute reindeer tag that I saw online. Yep, that’s my fingerprint. From there, I added a simple sentiment and some dsp. As a final touch, I added a strip of washi tape (couldn’t resist the contrasting green).

Another fun card featuring Festival of Trees and Seasonal Snapshot 2015. I was just about to glue this card down but realized I was missing a few elements. I quickly embossed the strip of Mossy Meadow to give the card some texture. Lastly, I added the tree silhouettes to the circle sentiment to help fill the white space. Perfect!

November Inkspiration challenge

I played off of the colors and acorns in the inspiration picture. The colors look a bit muddled in this picture, but I promise they look much better in person. I love the strip of burlap on the left hand side. The thin strip down the middle is actually leftover Early Espresso card stock. (Getting useful with my scraps! Look at me go!)

A Starry Christmas

This is such a great Christmas card! I love the play of textures and pattern. The star embossing folder always gets lost in the bin. Thankfully I pulled it out to use for my Christmas cards. The trick to this card was to emboss only the top 2/3 of the card. From there I added some great patterned paper and punched tree. Fairly simple, but such a great card.

30 Days of Christmas Cards Day 10

I found this cute idea of peek-a-boo patterned paper on Pinterest and had to make my own version. I had finished the card but something was missing… I added the punched tree and star and somehow the card was perfectly finished!

30 Days of Christmas Cards Day 6

A fairly simple card, but sometimes simple cards are the best! I added the “snow” using a pencil eraser and craft white ink. I love the random flakes. A few simple trees and a sentiment completes the card.
