Today’s card is a simple birthday tag featuring some great paper from the Occasions Catalog. I love making birthday cards and I finally broke down and bought the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set. It makes such a cute card!
Today’s card features one my favorite newer stamp sets: Cool Treats! I love making ice cream cards with this set. But so far I have neglected to feature any popsicles. Enter this fun card! I made a collection of popsicles in some of my current favorite colors. After creating my background, I added a simple sentiment, some ribbon, and a few enamel shapes to finish off my card.

My card features my favorite Sale-a-Bration item: Tasty Trucks Stamp Set. This little truck is too cute and can be made into so many different styles. I went with a cupcake truck today complete with a cupcake pyramid. After coloring in my truck, I added a few DSP layers to give it some extra oomph. To finish the card, I added a trio of gold enamel circles.
Stamps: Tasty Trucks

Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card using your favorite Sale-a-Bration item. My newest obsession is the new 6×6 Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack. You get four sheets each of three colors: Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, and Sweet Sugarplum. I need all the shiny things so of course I got this as soon as I could! For my card, I kept it simple to highlight the awesome glitter paper. I die cut a dragonfly from my piece of whisper white and a piece of vellum. I layered on a few coordinating colors of cardstock and added a simple sentiment. For final touches I added a few enamel shapes to give a bit extra sparkle. This card really shines in person!
For my card, I played off of the hot air balloons and some of the colors from the picture. I pulled out my trusty Celebrate Today stamp set. While most use this set to make balloons, it does include this cute little basket stamp to turn balloons into hot air balloons. Perfect for the photo! I simply inked up a few hot air balloons in some coordinating colors. I made sure to feature some great DSP from the Sale-a-Bration Carried Away pack. Love that paper so much. To finish my card, I added a few little embellishments.
Stamps: Celebrate Today
Inks: Peekaboo Peach; Watermelon Wonder; Sweet Sugarplum; Rich Razzleberry; Mint Macaron; Night of Navy; Basic Gray
Cardstock: Carried Away DSP; Watermelon Wonder; Whisper White
My card features items from the super fun Cool Treats suite in the Occasions Catalog. I had fun playing with the patterns from the paper pack. Because of the riot of pattern, I kept the stamping fairly simple with a big sentiment and a fun ice cream cone. It’s hard to see in the photo, but the watermelon part of the ice cream has extra shine with Wink of Stella. After layering the paper, I added some fun coordinating washi tape and enamel shapes to finish out the card.
Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card with one of our favorite Sale-a-Bration items. I knew I had to have the Tasty Trucks Stamp Set when the sale launched. Apparently, everyone loves this set. Almost all of my club ladies picked this SAB item for their January orders. I’ll definitely be making more cards using this set and featuring one of them for February club. But first, let’s see my first attempt!
I knew i wanted to make a birthday card featuring the watercolor pencils and some bright bold colors. I used some of the remaining scraps from the Festive Birthday DSP pack to create some fun pattern layers. From there, I focused on my main image. I stamped the truck, embellishments (cupcakes, flags), and sentiment in Basic Black. I then light colored parts of the image with the watercolor pencils. I applied some water to create a soft colored image. I finished off the card with a couple Emerald Envy enamel shapes.
Stamps: Tasty trucks
Inks: Basic Black
Cardstock: Festive Birthday DSP; Emerald Envy; Pumpkin Pie; Whisper White
For my card, I decided to create my own mask using the Circle Framelits. I simply die cut a medium circle out of a piece of white cardstock. From there, I sponged on three different green inks to create my multi-colored tree. I decided to continue the green theme with some fun apple print DSP. I finished the card with some gold enamel shapes to give the card some bling.
Stamps: Sheltering Tree
Inks: Wild Wasabi; Old Olive; Always Artichoke; Early Espresso
Cardstock: Fruit Stand DSP; Old Olive; Whisper White
Merry Christmas Everyone! The boys and I are at my mom’s house in Indiana snuggling up to stay warm and enjoying our lazy day.
Today’s card is the last of my Christmas cards to share with you this year. Simply make a quilt from all the little pieces! In this case, I used the smallest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits set and die cut 12 squares for each card. If you look, I ended up die cutting 96 squares to make this collection. A lot of cranking! But it was worth it create this amazing collection of cards. And I used use a ton of small scraps laying around. Win win!
